History of Texas State Flag
On December 28, 1838, Senator William H. Wharton was introduced in the Congress of the Republic of Texas. The national Flag of the Republic of Texas was adopted on January 25, 1839. On December 29, 1845, Texas became 28th state of United States of America and the national flag became the state flag of Texas.
Who Created the Texas State Flag?
Nobody knows who designed the Texas flag but some claim that Dr. Charles B. Stewart is either the designer of the flag or drew the image.
